What is the better Central ac. Reem, Amana or American Standard?

Im looking to replace my central air and these are the choices I have to pick from.|||The more important thing to consider right now are operating costs and what type of warranties you can get with your purchase. Your utility bills are going to soon be a bigger factor in your budget than it is now.

Go with the highest efficiency you can afford, and find out who offers the best warranty on their installation and equipment.|||Just like cars, they are made on an assembly line, so there is no perfect unit. I have a Rheem, and like it. You want the best, make sure it is at least 90% efficient.|||they are all three good units and can give you many years of service depending on how well they are installed and how well they are maintained..|||American Standard are very good quality units.|||American Standard has been rated #1 for several years by Consumers Report.

Rheem is also good.

Amana or anything made by Goodman Products is rated very poor and has numerous maintenacne issues.

ps American Standard also makes all TRANE units. Rated very good.|||All the units mentioned are reliable name brand units although i prefer goodman (Amana) carries the best warranty
