I have a recipe that calls for a cup of Baking soda. I am not sure what quantity an American cup is the equivalent of in grams. Added to the fact that obviously an american cup of lead is going to weigh more than an american cup of feathers. I hope someone will be able to tell me exactly how much an American cup of Baking Soda is in metric grams?|||It would be about 1/2 pound's worth, so do a conversion from there.|||1 cup [US] = 205.831765755 gram|||225 grams. .
baking soda is one of those ingredients to add too much - - rather than have a flop
