How much is a vintage 1983 american standard strat worth?

I have no idea and i was just wondering. And it is in almost near perfect condition, it looks like it just came out of the factory just a few tiny dints and scratches. Also there has been no modifications or anything since it was made. And it has a sunburst finish and a maple neck.|||If it's in good condition and everything,I'd say it could be worth anywhere between a thousand and five thousand bucks|||Check EBay to see what similar guitars are going for. That's your most accurate bet. Make sure you check already completed auctions as well to see what they were actually sold for. Sounds like you have something valuable on your hands though. I'll buy it for $300 (but you might find someone willing to pay more).
