Why has the American standard of living continually slipped since Reaganomics have been implemented?

Get it?|||Because the Republican power elite believe that only the wealthy should increase their standard of living. Everyone else (including the suckers who vote for them) should be living in shacks.|||By 1975, the Japanese and western Europeans were back on line as industrial powers. By the mid-80s the Koreans and Taiwanese were in the game. In the mid-90s the Chinese and Indians were in the picture. Add Brazilians and Russians into the mix.





These countries are cleaning America's clock. The US can't compete when it comes to factory output, for example. Since the 1980s, America has been more and more reliant of financial scheming for maintaining its standard of living. Now it's all unraveling.

I'll cringe for you, since you're likely unaware of how little your cited reference has to do with your unsupported criticism.|||All the high-paying/low-education careers like manufacturing jobs got shipped out with free trade, while all the really-high-paying/high-education jobs like doctors and lawyers and MBA's have been protected through immigration and licensing policies.|||K- here goes with my opinion (altho it seems to be coming to pass as I write this).

Removal of 10 commandments (sanctioned by congress for making-'illegal to display them in public places)





making it legal to kill babies by abortion but making it illegal to pray at school--(twisted hummm)





these are 'headline makers' I have many more but America is going down the toilet so fast--it's hard to 'keep up'.


The moral and ethical decay of America is overwhelming--(in the day--one would NEVER show disrespect for those in authority,dress like hookers (unless you were one),dress like a 'bum wear pants around the lower part of body with underwear showing,curse like 700 sailors and think it funny.


Who allowed this anyway? WE DID we sat passively by and did NOTHING--the Dr.Spock generation has emerged and it is horrific


Just my opinion but bears worth considering--(most on this y/a page can't remember a time when cursing was a no- no and parents are druggies.
