What is a fair price on a 5 ton 13 SEER American Standard Heat pump system installed.?

I'm trying to find out if my girlfriends mom got ripped off on her American Standard heat pump system. She paid $7,000 for a 5 ton 13 SEER american standard heat pump system to be installed. She already had a central air system but got it replaced so all the neccesary things for installation were there. Also is a 5 ton unit too much for a 2,200 sq ft house.|||that sounds like a pretty fair price. a heat pump system is a little more expensive then a regular gas split system and an American standard is a top of the line unit. at that price she should have gotten a 10 year parts and labor warranty. on 2200 sq ft home a 5ton system sounds right but to know for sure a heat load on the home would need to be done. hope this helped
